Sandi was born in Watertown, SD on March 31, 1950 and passed away June 6, 2012.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Termer (Pete); granddaughters, Paige, Morgan and Abigail; sister, Patti Gore; brothers, Robert Gore (Genie) and Jeffrey Gore; Aunt, Norma Rosler and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Overman; parents, Betty and Wayne Gore and sister, Carla Barton.

Sandi had a love of learning and excelled academically.

She graduated in 1968 from West Valley High School where she was a National Merit Scholar, valedictorian, and Miss Spokane Valley Princess.

She attended the University of Puget Sound on a National Merit Scholarship and later went on to receive her Master’s Degree from Gonzaga University.

She taught English for over 30 years at University High School where she also coached tennis and was a cheerleading advisor.

She enjoyed her book club and was an avid reader.

Sandi enjoyed golf, travel, and her, “Curves Girls”, but above all, she loved her grandkids and every minute spent with them.

She wintered in Yuma, AZ and made many wonderful supportive friends there.

She had a constant radiant smile, infectious laugh and her extremely positive, caring demeanor touched the lives of thousands.

Sandi was devoted to her family and lived every day to the fullest.

In celebration of her life, a Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 15, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA with Chaplain Don Russell officiating.
