Passed peacefully on June 7, 2012 from Alzheimer’s at Colonial Court.
She retired from Armors Meat Packing Co. after 30 plus years of service.
Viola was born and raised in Spirit Lake, Idaho and moved to Spokane in the 1940’s with her husband Robert Thompson Sr. and their son James.
She is survived by her sister Florence White; children Terrie Venie (Glenn), Thomas Thompson (Denise) and Dennis Thompson; grandchildren Tanya Venie Blair, Nicole Venie Greene, Autumn Dashiell Chapman, and Tyler Thompson; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Aaron Broesch; two sons James and Robert Thompson Jr.; a sister Irene Thompson and brother Donald “Bud” Mcphail.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at Advent Lutheran Church, 13009 E. Broadway, Spokane Valley, WA.
