Joan Teats, the “Mother of Washington Junior Golf”, passed peacefully on June 1st, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her three daughters, Chris Curtiss, Kathy Curtiss, Patty Curtiss, her step son Mac Teats, and five grandchildren, Sean Neery, Joel Teats, Leah Teats, Beverly Brunswick and Kevin Sleep.

In lieu of flowers and cards, the family asks that you send a donation to WJGA in her memory to 6314 19th St W, Suite 14, Fircrest, WA 98466.

A private ceremony for family only will be held to honor Joan and to celebrate her life.
