Boise man convicted of 14th DUI
BOISE – A 55-year-old Boise man who was convicted of driving under the influence for the 14th time could be sentenced to life in prison on Aug. 22.
Terry Lee Ash was convicted by an Ada County jury Tuesday. His conviction for being a persistent violator of the law makes him eligible for a life sentence.
Prosecutors say Ash was arrested after a single-vehicle crash near Kuna. Court records say his blood-alcohol level was 0.13 percent four hours after the crash. A person is considered legally intoxicated at a level of 0.08 percent.
