Born September 4, 1919 in St. John WA; passed away June 11, 2012 in Spokane.
Jim served in the military during WWII with the Navy.
He started Barber Engineering with his father in 1947.
Jim continued to design and manufacture farm equipment until his retirement.
He was married to Elizabeth “Betty” for 51 years.
He is survived by his children: Larry (Janet), Carol and Joanne (Ed); grandchildren: Pam, Mark (Jolette), Brad, Janel (Brent) and great-granddaughter, Melissa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty.
Visitation will be Friday, June 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A Committal Service will be held Saturday, June 16, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N. Wall Street.
