Avenue West set to get new address

On Friday, Avenue West Gallery at 122 S. Monroe St. will close.

Fear not, however. The gallery will reopen in July in a new location, in The Crescent Court, 707 W. Main Ave., Suite B11, in the Skywalk Level.

Moving is getting to be old hat for Avenue West. The gallery first opened in 2003 on First Avenue, in the Monroe Building, and in 2008 moved to the Monroe Street location.

Through this week, the show “Moving On” is the featured exhibit. It includes new works from the gallery’s resident artists, with special pricing. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
