Obama flunks finance

Folks, President Barack Obama is wrong. Do we really want the federal government to fund the salaries of Spokane’s teachers, firefighters and cops in order to stimulate the economy? Do we want people 3,000 miles away holding the purse strings and assuming more control over what should be local and state concerns?

And should Spokane taxpayers now pay for school building construction in other states after we have paid for our own construction? Does this make any sense?

If Chicago has crumbling schools, then it is up to Illinois to take care of that, not us.
