Passed away suddenly on June 11, 2012 in Spokane Valley, WA after a brief illness.
She was born October 27, 1979 in Omaha, NE and in 1981 her family moved to Spokane Valley where she was raised.
Katherine attended Broadway Elementary,
North Pines Junior High and Central Valley High School.
She worked in customer service at Floor Supply Distributors, Walmart and Spokane Discount, among others.
Katherine had great vitality and a love of life.
She enjoyed water skiing, camping, her family and was a member of the Catholic church.
Her son, Takoda, was the light of her life.
Katherine is survived by her parents, Duane and Susan Wenzl; son, Takoda Duane Clark; brothers and sisters, Donald (Kate) Wenzl, Christine (Joshua) Phillips, Karin (Jeff) Lowry, Stephan Wenzl and Teresa (Ryan) Florke; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; five nieces and nephews; fiancĂŠ, Steven L. Clark and his daughter, Shyianne R.L.
Clark and his mother, LaVon Pitchette.
Katherine was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernard and Audrey Wenzl and William and Agnes Kurtyak.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 15, 2012 at 3 PM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for her son, Takoda Clark, at Sterling Savings Bank.
