Church’s block party features food, games

Opportunity Presbyterian Church is inviting the neighborhood to a community block party Friday starting at 7 p.m. Stop by and roast marshmallows, play carnival games, get your face painted and eat hot dogs and ice cream.

Tickets for activities and food will be $1 each or 20 for $15. There will be a free showing of “The Parent Trap” at dusk. Parents can also register their children for the church’s upcoming vacation Bible school.
