WATCH: Dramatic video of cop shooter trying to evade police
The Spokane Police Department released footage today taken by a Spokane Sheriff’s Office helicopter during the high-speed chase of Charles Wallace. Wallace shot two deputies during a traffic stop on Newport Highway Tuesday, stole a car from an 87-year-old woman, and led police on the chase through north Spokane County.
Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich said Wednesday Wallace fired at pursuing law enforcement before crashing in Deer Park and fatally shooting himself in the head.
