Future engineers: Jasmine Meredith, 9, tests out a robotic coyote she and her partner, 9-year-old Paige Stoick, built out of LEGOs during a LEGO Robot Zoo camp Friday at Westminster Congregational Church in Spokane. During the camp, hosted by FIRST LEGO League, children were given the title of engineer and put into teams by Lorna Kropp, Spokane region partner at FIRST LEGO League. The young engineers were then tasked with building lifelike robotic animals and designing biologically accurate habitats for them to create a robotic zoo. (Tyler Tjomsland)
