GIAMPIETRI, Jody E.
(Age 80)
November, 1931 to June, 2012

Mom passed away June 21, 2012 surrounded by her family.

She was born in 1931 in Priest River, Idaho to Henry and Rose Naccarato.

She married Vic Giampietri on November 8, 1952 and they were married for 59 years until his passing in February, 2012.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Her biggest joy in life was getting the family together and cooking big Italian dinners.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren taking them shopping and to movies.

She was a very social person and attended every event she was invited to.

She enjoyed spending time with extended family members and friends.

She loved shopping and you could always find her at the mall.

She enjoyed traveling with dad, spending their winters in Las Vegas.

She was well known for her sense of humor and quick wit.

Mom was primarily a homemaker raising us kids and did work part time at a local pharmacy, a school cafeteria and the County Election department.

She is survived by her two sons Mike (Lori), John (Debbie) and daughter Vicki.

She had five grandchildren, Angela, Melissa, Lindsay, Connor and Jarred; one great-granddaughter, Elliana; two stepgrandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vic four months prior, her parents, three sisters, Mary, Ann and Laurie and one brother, Mike.

We will be holding a memorial service at St. Aloysius Catholic Church at 330 E. Boone at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 28, 2012.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Spokane at 367 E. 7th Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202.

She will be greatly missed by both family and friends.
