Our beloved David Robel, age 54, son of Denis and Marie (Sullivan) Robel, passed into eternal life on June 8, 2012 after suffering a massive cerebral hemorrhage.

David was born in Yakima, graduated from St. Charles Grade school in Spokane and Gonzaga Prep.

He studied math and economics at Gonzaga U and EWU until the onset of mental illness interrupted his pursuit of higher education.


Dave had a brilliant mind, an amazing memory, quick wit and a heart of gold.

He lived his entire life with his family and was a dedicated, patient and faithful caregiver for his grandparents, parents and nieces and nephews.

His kindness extended to neighbors and anyone else who needed his help, even becoming an organ donor after his passing.

He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
David is survived by his parents, his siblings Greg Robel of Renton, John (Linda) Robel of Colbert, Diane Robel of Seattle and Janet Robel of Spokane; nieces and nephews: Lauren Berg, Dylan Jackson and Marshall and Lena Robel; Uncle John (Rosie) Sullivan of Hayden and Aunt Lois Robel of Yakima, as well as several cousins.
Vigil Services will be held Tuesday, June 26, at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 27, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, 4515 N. Alberta.

Private Inurnment will take place at a later date.
