ROWLAND, Frank

Died May 27, 2012 at his home in West Seattle.
Frank was born on May 9, 1930 in Reardan, Washington.
He earned his Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University, his Master’s degree at Central Washington University, and served in the US Air Force.
In 1960, Frank married Beverly Joanne Loudon and they settled in Des Moines Washington.
He worked at Sylvester Jr. High in the Highline School District for 30 years.
He also taught at Highline Community College, and commercially fished.
Frank enjoyed boating, was an accomplished mechanic and a do-it-yourselfer with home maintenance projects.
He is survived by his wife Carmen Malmanger of West Seattle; his children Robin Rowland, Brock Rowland and Lee Homa, Dianne and Jeff LaMont; and his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by Beverly, his wife of 35 years.
We will celebrate Frank’s life with a Memorial Service on July 22, 2012, 3:00pm at the Des Moines Beach Park Event Center, 1000 South 220th Street.
