HOXSEY, Douglas E.

Douglas E. Hoxsey of Tucson, AZ passed away on June 15,2012 after many years of health issues.
Douglas was born on September 21, 1935 to Katherine and Douglas W. Hoxsey in Towsend, MT. He was a Korean War veteran with the U.S. Air Force as a Radar Tech. Many thanks to the personnel of Southern Arizona Veterans Healthcare System for the years of superb care.
He had been a thoroughbred horse trainer and breeder of champion show dogs and was past president of the Inland Empire Kennel Club.
Douglas is survived by his wife Carol Shilliam-Hoxsey and their son, Erik. And three stepgrandchildren of Salt Lake City, UT. Also brother, Leonard (Buck) Hoxsey and wife Judy, sister, Anita Perry-Murphy and husband Dennis, plus many extended family members, including aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and their families. He is also predeceased by brother, Dennis Hoxsey. He had many friends through the years and shared his vast knowledge of animals freely.
