Was born October 5, 1920 in Hillyard, WA and died June 22, 2012 in Spokane, WA.
She was a graduate of North Central High School and attended Kinman Business University.
On December 23, 1945 she married John W. Jones who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children Daryl and Judith Jones; her grandchildren, Holly (Pete) Garrabrant, Aaron Hiatt, Sean (Kaylee) Hiatt, and her three great-granddaughters, Aurianan, Mikayla, and Jenaya.
She was an avid gardener and expert seamstress, who also loved to knit and quilt.
After John and Mariem retired, they traveled all over the world until poor health intervened.
She will be deeply missed by all.
Services will be held at Sunset Chapel, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave. on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 4 pm.
