Fourth of July - Riverfront Park - July 3-4. Independance Day festival. Nonsmoking event, except designated area, no animals allowed, adult beverage gardens.Tuesday: Six Foot Swing, swing dance lessons, The Air National Guard Band of the Northwest Concert. Fireworks at 10 p.m. Wednesday: Spokane Jazz Orchestra, free Children’s Meadow by Numerica Credit Union, First Night Rising Stars Stage, and fireworks display at dusk by Larry H. Miller. Fourth of July - Coeur d’Alene - Parade begins at 11 a.m. at 15th and Sherman. Festival in the Coeur d’Alene City Park all day. Fireworks over the lake at dusk. July 4.

Hoopfest - The biggest 3-on-3 street basketball tournament in the world, with more than 7,000 teams, and 250,000 players and fans. The event includes an outdoor festival with shopping, food, and interactive entertainment. Saturday-Sunday, downtown Spokane.

Schweitzer Summer Celebration - This is the Grand Opening weekend for Schweitzer Mountain Resort summer operations. Rides on the Great Escape Quad will be free all day. In the village, there will be arts and crafts vendors, barbecue, the new Monkey Motion air jumper, the climbing wall, geocaching, tennis, free live music and other summer amenities.
