Festival schedule

April 3 – “The Birds,” a classic Hitchcock suspense/horror film

April 17 – “Anatomy of a Murder,” the famous courtroom drama directed by Otto Preminger.

The Advocates for the Bing Crosby Theater presents its spring film series Best of the Suspense Classics at the Bing Crosby Theater in downtown Spokane, starting Tuesday.

Curtain time for all films is 7 p.m., with doors to the theater at Sprague Avenue and Lincoln Street opening at 6 p.m. A $5 donation is suggested.

“We try to offer some of the best of the best films in our spring and fall classic film festivals,” said Bill Stimson, Advocates for the Bing Crosby Theater president. “This time we’re featuring the mystery/suspense genre because so many people have told us that these are some of their favorites. And the four we’re showing stand out as classics in a very good field.”
