College basketball automatic bids

It’s the first weekend of March and conference tournament weeks are upon us. The first three automatic bids to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament will be determined today.

 Big South: Virginia Military vs. UNC-Asheville, 9 a.m. on ESPN2

 Ohio Valley: Murray State vs. Tennessee State, 11 a.m. on ESPN2

 Atlantic Sun: Belmont vs. Florida-Gulf Coast, 4 p.m. on ESPN2

 Ivy League: Harvard defeated Columbia 77-70 in overtime on Friday night to maintain a half-game lead over Pennsylvania.
