Oregon hits 15 3-pointers in convincing rout of Utah

Devoe Joseph scored 21 points and Oregon made 15 3-pointers in a 94-48 rout of Utah Saturday in Eugene, Ore., in their Pac-12 men’s basketball game.

Carlos Emory also scored 19 and Garrett Sim added 13 points for the Ducks (22-8, 13-5 Pac-12), who locked up third place in the conference and secured a bye in the first round of next week’s Pac-12 tournament.

Jason Washburn scored 26 to lead the Utes (6-24, 3-15), who went 0-12 on the road this season. This was the worst loss in school history.

The game got ugly for Utah real fast as the Ducks went up 34-2 in the first 13 minutes of the game. Oregon finished off the half with four straight 3-pointers to lead 52-14 at halftime.

Oregon St. 83, Colorado 69: Ahmad Starks had all 18 of his points during an electrifying second half performance to lead the Beavers to an 83-69 win over the Buffaloes in Corvallis, Ore., helping Oregon State clinch only its second winning season in 22 years.

Roberto Nelson added 16 points and Jared Cunningham had 15 for the Beavers (17-13, 7-11 Pac-12), in the final regular-season game for both.
