Passed away on March 4, 2012 at 7:45 am in Spokane, WA.
She was born on January 12, 1940 in Charleston, MS to Nolan and Julia Mae Johnson.
Ella is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jack Dye Jr. of Rosalia, WA: three sons, Frank P. Johnson of Monticello, AR, Arthur E. Johnson of Spanaway, WA and Larry J. Dye of Yakima, WA; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; special nephew, Cedrick J. Barnes of Spokane, WA; and other numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Frances Johnson, Roberta Loch, Willie Mae Cosby, Mary Louise Suggs and Joyce Ann Smith; brothers, James Eddie Johnson, Robert L. Barnes and Ivan Earl Barnes, and many children who call her Mama.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Barnes and sister, Ruthie Mae Hamp.
Visitation on Thursday, March 8, 2012, 5:00 - 8:00 pm, Ball & Dodd Funeral Home and Friday, March 9, 2012, 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Rosalia Assembly of God, 105 N Whitman Ave. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012, 1:30 pm, Rosalia Assembly of God.
