Judy E. (Spellman) Smecko 70 years old, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away at her home March 3, 2012 after a long battle with M.S.
Judy was born October 20, 1941 and grew up in Hayden, Idaho.
She moved to Alaska in 1961 where she met and married Richard Smecko.
They moved to Spokane in 1969, raised a family and Judy made her career with H&R Block.
There are many fond memories of festive parties and gatherings both at their home in Spokane and at the lake cabin on Pend Oreille.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband Dick Smecko, mother and father Eileen and Cliff Spellman.
She is survived by her daughter Tara Smecko, son Scott Smecko and grandson Van Fritts.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2pm at English Funeral Chapel , Post Falls.
