Born July 30, 1944, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, to Tom and Lilith O’Connor, Joe passed away March 8, 2012, in Otis Orchards, Washington.
Joe and Sharon were married for 44 years and had three children and five grand-children: Sean O’Connor of Spokane; Traci and Tyler Gederos, Carlee nine, and Hayden seven, of Coquille, OR; and Joey and Tricia O’Connor, Chloe nine, Malachi seven, and Alanna two, of Silverton, OR.
Joe was in the Air Force for nine years and with the Washington Air National Guard.
for 22 years.
He loved to hunt, fish, and play golf.
But most of all he liked to work, and work he did!
Joe was a treasure to all who knew him, a unique and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed forever.
He is at home now in God’s loving care.
A funeral mass will be held Monday, March 12, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 4521 N. Arden, Otis Orchards, WA.
Interment will be at 2:15 PM, at Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, WA.
