Obituary: Chiesa, Mark A.

Age 53

CHIESA,
Mark A.

After a long and tough battle with leukemia, Mark was granted his angel wings and flew away to heaven the evening of March 10th, 2012 in Teresa’s loving arms.

He was born August 28, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY to Gulio and Emma Chiesa.

He was raised in Mexico and moved to the Inland Northwest in 1982.

He met his wife, the love of his life, Teresa Chiesa, on October 20, 1990 and his life was changed forever!

Mark was a devoted husband, exceptional father and a loving “Pops”.

They had three wonderful children together, Meggie, Amy and Michael and three grandchildren, Gracie, Addyson and Max (on the way).

Teresa always said, “He was a Great Man!”

He loved his family more than anything and to them “POPS IS TOPS”.

He was a connoisseur of culture, he spoke four different languages, he loved cooking and eating good food, traveling the world and was a New York sports fanatic.

He had strong family values and a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed forever!

Please come and celebrate Mark’s life with his family at Hennessey Funeral Home at 2203 N. Division Street in Spokane, WA on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 7pm for a Vigil Service.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 10am at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on behalf of Mark.
