Blustery weather will mark the day as a storm front continues to roll across the Northwest.

A wind advisory is in effect until 11 p.m. in the Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Moses Lake, Lewiston and Pullman areas. The National Weather Service is warning of southwest winds 20-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. The winds are expected to reach peak speed in the afternoon and early evening.

Driving may be difficult for those operating larger vehicles, forecasters said.

The region will see a mix of rain and snow today, with Spokane’s high forecast to be 42.

Tonight, a 20 percent chance of snow showers is forecast before 11 p.m. The low will be around 29.

Wednesday will bring some more rain and a high near 44. The winds will be between 5 and 11 mph, the weather service said.
