Chiefs set for final home game of regular season
Before the Spokane Chiefs and Vancouver Giants meet in the opening round of the Western Hockey League playoffs next weekend, they’ll determine home-ice advantage this weekend.
The Chiefs wrap up their regular season with a pair of games – hosting the Seattle Thunderbirds tonight and visiting the Tri-City Americans on Saturday.
Spokane (37-24-5-4) and Vancouver (39-26-2-3), which also has its final two games this weekend, are tied for fourth in the Western Conference standings with 83 points.
The Giants have a home-and-home series tonight and Saturday with the Kelowna Rockets. If both the Giants and Chiefs win out, Vancouver owns …
