BYRNE, Herbert “Joey”
Joey Byrne born on March 18, 1936 in Hackensack, New Jersey passed away suddenly on March 4, 2012 in Spokane, Washington just days shy of his 76th birthday of Congestive Heart Failure.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Archer and father, George R. Byrne, son, Roger A. Byrne, brother, George E. Byrne and his first wife, Donna Bailey Byrne.
He is survived by his daughter, Laurie Byrne Accardo, his grandson, Anthony S Accardo, brother, Lorne Archer, his second wife, Catherine L. Kearney and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joey was much traveled in his career as a musician and singer.
Our earthly choir has lost a sweet voice , but heaven’s choir is enriched by Joey’s dulcet tones.
He will be greatly missed.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at New Vision Lutheran Church located at 3307 W. Rowan, Spokane, WA 99205 at 2:00 by Pastor Doug Wagley.
There will be a reception immediately after the memorial with refreshments.
