Patsy R.

Patsy Ruth Hackett, 87, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at her home in Libby, Montana surrounded by friends and loved ones.

She was born on February 21, 1925 in Spokane, Washington, the daughter of Otto and Ruth (Burns) Gibson.
She attended school in Spokane, graduating from Lewis & Clark High School in 1943.

For 26 years she worked as a secretary for Kaiser Aluminum; Trentwood.

She retired in 1982.

She was an active member of Sweet Adelines, Pushie Grandmas and also volunteered her time to the Spokane Multiple Sclerosis Society.

She was also a member of Wandermere 18 Hole Lady’s Golf Club.


She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Foggio, brothers Donald and Delbert Gibson and a sister-in-law Ora Lee Gibson.
Survivors include her son Todd Hackett and wife Maria, Libby; granddaughter Jordan Stephenson; brother Gary Gibson, Oakland, Calif.

Numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.


Services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at the Spokane Valley Eagles, 16801 East Sprague.

Memorials may be made to Hospice, Multiple Sclerosis, or Lupus of choice.
