Age 93

KLINE, Ruth

Ruth was born January 4, 1919 to Carl and Lydia Bloom and passed away on March 14, 2012 at Sunshine Gardens.


She attended North Central High School graduating in 1937.

Upon graduating from Kinman Business University she began working at Anthony Baker & Burn’s real estate department.

She went on to work for the Spokane Chamber of Commerce and Addressograph-Multigraph Corp. retiring in 1983.
From 1945 to 1964 she was married to Lloyd A. Catlow.

In 1973 she married Albright Kline who passed away in 1993.

She is preceded in death by her brother Harold W. Bloom of Ellensburg, WA.
Ruth had many wonderful friendships that began in grade school and continued throughout her life.

Many enjoyable times were spent with family and friends at the log cabin that Al built in Bayview, ID.

Ruth loved being surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Leingang (Bob) of Bellevue, WA, and son Craig Catlow (Sharon) of Spokane Valley, WA, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at Millwood Community Presbyterian Church, 3223 N. Marguerite Road on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.
Her family would like to say thank you to Sunshine Gardens and Spokane Hospice for the loving care they provided.
