Providence plans billing center

Providence Health & Services will take 32,000 square feet of office space in the former Agilent Technologies building at 24100 E. Mission Ave. in Liberty Lake. The building now carries the name Meadowwood Technology Center.

The company, which owns Providence Health Care Eastern Washington, will convert the office into a billing center. It expects to take occupancy in August or September.

PH&S is consolidating billing management into its Spokane and Portland centers. The Spokane center’s headcount will grow to 250 eventually, Providence said.

Antique shop opens on Monroe

Anita Trinkle has fulfilled a 15-year dream: opening her own antique store in Spokane. Eye Candy Antiques opened on a snowy day in January at 3017 N. Monroe St.

Trinkle’s the sole proprietor of the 1,400-square-foot shop, which specializes in shabby chic collectibles, true antiques and vintage clothing.

Next Saturday she will add an all-vintage women’s clothing area.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday.

Resale clothing shop opens

Julie Shepard-Hall and daughter Erica Shepard have opened ZipperZ, a resale/ consignment clothing shop at 903 ½ W. Garland Ave.

Located in the Garland business district, the 400-square-foot boutique offers new and like-new apparel. The shop caters to women, but the owners hope to offer men’s apparel, too.

Shepard-Hall also owns Integrity Insurance Solutions, which moved from Garland to 3913 N. Post St. Shepard manages ZipperZ, which operates 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
