Daniele Modderman serves as House page
Daniele Modderman, a sophomore at The Oaks Classical Christian Academy in Spokane Valley, recently served as a page in the Washington House of Representatives. She was sponsored by Rep. Matt Shea, R-Spokane Valley.
Page responsibilities are varied and include delivering messages and documents to legislators in their offices, in committee meetings and in the House chambers during floor sessions. In addition to these duties, students take part in page school where they learn how a bill becomes a law. They are also required to continue their studies for two hours a day.
