FAIT, Fred W.

Fred W. Fait was born in Spokane, WA to Fred and Bertha Fait on May 29th, 1924.

He lived those years leading a happy, dignified and regret-free life.

Fred passed away peacefully on March 17, 2012 at home with his wife of 67 years by his side.
He served as a Navy Aerial Gunner in WWII, was in the Naval Reserves for years, then transferred to the WA.

Air National Guard retiring in 1984.

He joined the Spokane Police Dept.

in 1949, retiring after 31 years in 1980.

And was an active Shriner for over 30 years.
Fred is survived by his wife Geraldine A. Fait; his daughter Geri Jo Hamilton and her husband Ray of Reardan, WA; his grandson Wade Hamilton and his wife Barbara of Reardan, WA; his grandson Ron Hamilton of Phoenix, AZ; his granddaughter Deana Hamilton and her husband Jim of Spokane Valley, WA and granddaughter in-law Janine Hamilton of Cheney, WA.

He has nine great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for Fred at Fairmont Cemetery’s Sunset Chapel on Saturday March 24th 2012 at 10AM.

The service is open to the public, and we encourage those who would like to celebrate his life and his service to the public to join us.
