Kudos and condemnation

First of all, kudos for using local staff to do excellent feature stories and give some of them front page status. I am enjoying them, and it gives me a reason to continue my subscription to an in-print daily paper when in-print, on-paper journalism is under pressure from Internet sources.

Second of all, condemnation to your censorship of the Doonesbury comic strip last week. Apparently, the news articles about the kinds of legislation being considered in Idaho, Texas and Pennsylvania that attempt to apply a right-wing religious law on women, and that describe the same kind of activities as those in the censured Doonesbury strip, are acceptable for your readers.
