The loss of one of the good men, Eric Alan Hulen.

Eric was born in 1949 in Oklahoma City, OK, but he lived in Spokane since he was 5 years old and knew this is where he wanted to stay.

Eric graduated from Lewis & Clark High School, Eastern Washington University, and then later Spokane Community College.

Eric was a Senior Master Tech for Subaru, then after 27 years, he decided to drive for First Transit.

In September 2008 Eric had to stop working because he had cancer.

Eric’s battle with cancer lasted 3½ years until March 22, 2012 when Eric passed in his sleep.

Eric loved working on cars, and enjoyed sailing, kayaking, riding bicycles, going for walks, and especially loved helping others.

Eric is survived by his wife, son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, two brothers, and their families, a niece and nephew from his beloved sister, and two cats, along with many friends.

On March 31st there will be a memorial gathering for my love, Eric A. Hulen at 2 PM at the Hampton Inn, 16148 E. Indiana Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99216, (509) 928-6900.
