Obituary: Rigg, Henry A.

Age 89

RIGG,
Henry A.
“Hank”
(Age 89)

God called Hank home on March 20, 2012.

Apparently there was a need for an incredibly strong, trust-worthy, and honest man in Heaven and our father and grandfather perfectly fit the bill.

He will be missed, even though he will stay with us always.

Hank was born October 1, 1922 in Pomeroy, Washington to Leland E. and Nora Rigg.

He is preceded in death by his wife Margie Rigg, brother Lee and sister Mildred.

He graduated from Central Valley high School where he met Margie A. Morrow.

They were married in 1942 and enjoyed 66 years of marriage.

He is survived by two children Ricky A. Rigg (Mona) and Jana Anderson (Dennis), grandchildren: Tami Thomas, Dale Rigg, Wade Wolfley, Kyle Wolfley, James Rigg; Great-grandchildren Danielle Thomas, Brooks Wolfley, Brett Wolfley, Cherie Wolfley, Faith Wolfley and Jenna Thomas.
He owned and operated Hank’s Texaco at Monroe and Sharp until he retired in 1980.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Spokane for all the wonderful support and love they showed Hank.

We would like to especially thank Lou Ann who has been a blessing to our family.

We would also like to thank Mary and staff at Aunt Mary’s family home for the care they gave our father.
