(Age 62)

Donald E. Thorne passed away March 16, 2012, surrounded by his family, in Spokane.

He was born October 24, 1949 in York, NE, the son of Morris and Louise (Litty) Thorne.

Don managed the swim-ming pool at Eastern Washington University for thirty years.

He cherished his time as a Boy Scout Leader and as an active member of St. Aloysius then St. Joseph parishes.

Most importantly, he was a very proud and loving father and husband.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Morris and Louise Thorne and his brother Robert Thorne.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Sharyn Thorne of Colbert, WA; his children Lisa Thorne of Spokane, Jimmy Thorne of Peoria, IL and Kristi Thorne of Seattle, WA; his brother David Thorne; and his sister Jeanne (Floyd) Marsh.

Vigil services will be Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 5pm and will take place at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 26, 2012 at 11am and will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3720 E. Colbert Road, Colbert, WA.

Inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Spokane, WA.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Inland Northwest Council of the Boy Scouts of America or the Inland Northwest Chapter of the National M.S.
