Seattle company’s Bacon Coffin lets you rest in pork

A Seattle company that has introduced such ground-breaking bacon products as Bacon Salt and Baconnaise announced its newest pork-oriented product: the Bacon Coffin. J&D’s Foods said the bacon coffins are “for those who love bacon to death.” The coffins — finished in “painted bacon and pork shading” — cost $2,999. “Here at J&D Foods we’re putting the ‘fun’ back in funerals,” the company’s news release said. No word from a company spokesman whether this is an April Fool’s joke.
