Was born on December 4, 1956 and passed away on March 25, 2012.
He is survived by his parents, Donald Sr. and Karna Hegel; his four children and their spouses, Dale Jr. and Kristina, Donald and Vicki, Dawn and Adil, Amberose and Sixto; three brothers, Donald Jr. (Butch) and Debra, Darrell and Dean; uncles, Lee, Fred and Bill; 14 grandchildren; his nieces and nephews; great-nephews and great-niece; great-great-nephew and great-great-nieces; and numerous other family and friends.
Dale Sr. was a race car driver from 1979 - 1992.
He raced at the Fairgrounds, Stateline, and at Raceway Park.
Dale raced almost all classes when it came to racing.
He raced #99 on circle, figure-eight, and drag tracks.
Dale also enjoyed drinking Coca Cola, watching wrestling, playing cards, and let’s not forget his Sunday chicken.
He was a strong hearted man, who fought a 20 year battle.
Dale will always hold a special place in all of our hearts and his memory will never be forgotten.
A memorial service and potluck will be held at the Ford Senior Center in Ford, WA beginning at 1:00PM on April 7, 2012.
