BLOYED, Merle Ray
(Age 84)

Born on December 2, 1927 in Joplin, Missouri; entered into rest at Good Samaritan’s Spokane Valley on March 27, 2012 in Spokane Valley, WA.

Merle is survived by his son Merle Ray Bloyed II of Spokane, WA; his daughter Traci Hart of Liberty Lake, WA; and his step-daughter Kandy Chaney of Spokane, WA; seven grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Merle served in the Navy from 1946 to 1950.

He was a fireman journeyman in the Navy and a diesel mechanic in the machinist union for 25 years outside the Navy.

He worked for Cummins Motors and helped build the first Cummins motor ever built.

Merle enjoyed traveling and was a gold miner.

He was a great Dad and Grandfather who will be dearly missed.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 North Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
