McKINNEY, Bill
“Billy Ray”

Born July 7, 1928 passed peacefully and quietly at home March 26, 2012.


Bill lead a very fulfilling and colorful life.

He was especially known for his sense of humor and blunt straight forward nature.

He was a very hard worker and worked in the construction field for Inland Asphalt, retiring in 1986.

Bill was also known for his knowledge and horsemanship abilities having done everything from chariot horse racing, rodeoing to the Omak Suicide Race.

Preceded in death by parents Muriel and Coy McKinney, sister Maxine, daughter Marcy, and son Terry.

He is survived by brothers John and Frank; sons: Rick, Dwayne, Marty (Julie); daughters: Michelle Kuck (Cliff), Nancy Noel (Brad), Linda aka “Pete” Alderman (Moe) along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Also the “true love of his life “Dot”.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to Kim McBride and Chris Sutherland and their family for their compassionate and wonderful care they provided.

Being a true cowboy’s cowboy, this is not a final good-bye, just a ‘see ya later!”


In the meantime, “keep those spurs ever sharp, boots cleaned and shined until we meet the next time!!

Please join us for a potluck and Celebration of his Life on Saturday, March 31 at 12:00 pm at Truth Ministries located at 1910 E. Sprague (please use back entrance).
