Kardiac care: Gord Phillips, 63, of Quesnel, B.C., makes sure his 1967 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 is shined and dusted the moment before the gates open at the 49th Spokane Auto Boat Speed Show on Friday at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center. The car, built by JF Kustoms, is called “Kardiac 500” and was selected to participate in the Detroit Autorama Hot Rod Show’s “Great 8.” Phillips has owned the car for 15 years.
