Dock destroyed: As many as 10 boats were destroyed after a fire broke out Friday morning in a boathouse on the East G dock at Squalicum Harbor in Bellingham. Bellingham Fire Department investigators said two people who have been missing since the fire were believed to have been trapped aboard a burning boat that sank during the blaze. The fire destroyed much of a dock at the marina. It was difficult to fight because of its size, and crews didn’t have a fire boat, Fire Department Assistant Chief Roger Christensen said.
