Mary W. March was Promoted to Glory on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at her home.
Mary was born to Murray John Graham and Ivy Allen on September 6, 1932 in Los Angeles, CA.
She resided in Spokane for 40 years and was a faithful soldier and servant in The Salvation Army.
She had most recently held the position of CORPS Treasurer and member of the Women’s Ministries.
Mary was a member of the Red Hat Society and TOPS.
Mary also served in the US Army Postal Operations.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter Rose March; and son Leon March; three grandchildren, Amy, Amanda, and Jeremy and seven great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her sisters Nancy Roberta Baumann and Jean Ivy Parsons.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, May 1st from 5-7 pm at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home, 2203 N Division St. A Celebration of her life will be at The Salvation Army, 222 E. Indiana Ave. on Wednesday, May 2nd at 10:00 am.
Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA.
