‘Alice in Wonderland’ opens at CV tonight

The drama department at Central Valley High School, 821 S. Sullivan Road, will present “Alice in Wonderland,” based on the classic novel by Lewis Carroll, today through Saturday and Monday and Tuesday. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the curtain rises at 7:30 p.m.

Alice falls into the world of Wonderland and meets colorful characters including the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar and the King and Queen of Hearts.

The cast includes Emily Peters as Alice; Adam Blyckert as the White Rabbit; Josh Spencer as the Caterpillar; Ashley Stewart as Duchess; Madeleine Chambers as Cook; Jedidiah Jensen as Frog Footman; Patrick Crumb-McGruder as the March Hare; Ethan Erickson as the Mad Hatter; Becky Adamson as the Dormouse; Anika Martin as the Cheshire Cat; Ashton Toth as Tweedledum; Landon Toth as Tweedledee; Brandon Carter as the King of Hearts; Aaron Croom as the Knave of Hearts; Shelbie McKenzie as the Red Queen/Queen of Hearts; Salina Johnson as the White Queen; Matt Busch as the executioner; Tim Barrier, Ryan McKinley and Katelyn Graham as the Card Army.

The technical crew includes Valerie Beale, Emily Jarvis, Rachel Butler, Emily Boynton, Richy Morgan, Devan Morgan, MaKormick Claypool, Shay Simon, Rebecca Sherman and Alyssa Rose.

The play is directed by drama teacher Mike Muzatko.
