Accident injures two near Priest River

Two people were injured in a late night accident on Highway 2 east of Priest River Saturday. The Idaho State Patrol reported that a 2001 GMC Yukon was heading west near milepost 9 when the driver struck an embankment for an unknown reason. The Yukon rolled several times. The driver, identified as 62-year-old Marilyn J. Mandigo of Oldtown, Idaho, and a juvenile male passenger were both injured and taken to Bonner General Hospital.
