Our loving father was called home on May 2, 2012.
He was born on April 24, 1934 in Spokane to Ray and Lucy LaBelle.
Don had two siblings Gordon and Emmajean.
He married Joanne Kraft in 1954 and they recently celebrated 58 years of marriage.
Don lived in the Spokane Valley where he raised his eight children, Ed, Debbie, Karen, Diane, Mary, Theresa, Steve and Cindy; along with 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Don worked driving truck at Zellerbach Paper Co. for 42 years.
He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at his property on the Pend Oreille River, always being surrounded by lots of family and friends.
He also was proud of the bountiful garden he grew and loved to show it off.
Don was very devoted to St. Paschal’s Parish and attended almost every Sunday when he could.
Don would lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He will be missed beyond what words can express but be with us in our hearts and memories.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 9th from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines, Spokane Valley, WA.
A Rosary will be held Thursday, May 10th at 7:00 PM at St. Paschal’s Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 11th at 1:00 at St. Paschal’s Catholic Church, 2523 N. Park Rd.
