Royce Bolinger got Gonzaga off to a quick start and Kenny Smith was solid in relief to help the Bulldogs (29-17, 9-9) nail down a 7-5 victory over the Saint Mary’s Gaels (22-23, 6-12) in the rubber game of a West Coast Conference baseball series in Moraga, Calif., on Sunday.
Bolinger drilled a two-run home run in the top of the first inning after Steven Halcomb led off with a double to stake the Bulldogs to a 2-0 lead.

GU used RBI singles from Mitchell Gunsolus and Marco Gonzales and a balk by Gaels starter Jordan Mills (4-4) to score three times for a 5-1 lead.
Derek Callahan (3-1) replaced Hunter to begin the fourth and allowed one run in 1 2/3 innings to pick up the win.
Smith pitched shutout ball over the final 4 1/3 innings to notch his first career save.
