Delicate plants could get nipped overnight
Gardeners will want to cover vulnerable plants and delicate sprouts tonight. The overnight temperature will dip below freezing early in the morning.
The low will be around 31 in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene, and even lower in areas to the north.
Friday is expected to be sunny with a high near 63 in Spokane, and Friday night’s low will be around 39.
Daytime highs will get more comfortable starting this weekend: 71 Saturday, 79 Sunday, 83 Monday and 85 Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.
