Junor Lilac Parade set for Saturday

The 61st annual Spokane Junor Lilac Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Organized by volunteers from the Rotaract Club of Spokane, the parade features middle school bands and drill units, youth organizations and other clubs. Trophies are given in a variety of categories, and the winner of the Grand Sweepstakes gets an automatic entry to the Lilac Association Armed Forces Torchlight Parade on May 19.
