Roy Kenneth
(Age 89)

Entered into rest on April 25, 2012 in Spokane Valley, his home of 57 years.

Roy was born on October 15, 1922 in Brownington, Missouri.

Roy served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific during WWII.

He worked on a B-29 flight crew under General Curtis LeMay in the 871st Squadron, 497th Bomb Group.

After the war, he married Mary Alice Petefish (September 21, 1923 - September 5, 1999) in Kansas City, Missouri.

They moved to the Spokane area in 1955.

Roy worked at the Washington Water Power Company for 30 years.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Roy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his two daughters, (Linda K. DeHart, Yakima, WA, and Martha J. Bliesner, Veradale, WA) his son, (Ken D. Rothgeb, Grayson, GA), three sisters (Jewell Henry, Mayota Hartman, and Louise Woods all of Kansas City, Missouri), five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

A private family memorial will be held on Friday, May 11.
